About
Hello,
I'm Giedrius, 39.
As I leave the milestone of two significant decades behind and approach the next—with the dust of life’s changes finally settling and having (at last) found the time to complete my studies—I’ve realized I’m eager to help those whose experiences are still ahead of them.
I have spent over 10 years in leadership roles within manufacturing. My experience was forged in the Netherlands, starting in a small family business and eventually moving under the Garmin corporate umbrella, where I have spent several years leading two different production teams across two separate plants.
The greatest compliment I’ve ever received came from Garmin’s Director of Engineering for Canada (and interim Director for Europe). He told me: "You have a very high factor of giving a shit." While it’s always hard to evaluate oneself, I believe the last few years have proven my ability to revitalize projects that were long written off as impossible and to sustainably implement change where it is needed most.
Alongside my primary role, I’ve had several opportunities over the last few years to help colleagues take the next step in their careers—whether that meant moving up the ladder or successfully pivoting and expanding their field of expertise.
Best regards,
Giedrius Stačinskas
