GENERAL PROVISIONS

Basanavičiaus g. 41-5, Vilnius; e-mail: info@idialogue.lt (hereinafter “we”) (hereinafter “Company”) processes the personal data of the users/visitors, mentors and mentees as well as training purchasers (hereinafter “you”, “your”) of the idialogue mentorship platform (www.idialogue.lt) (hereinafter “idialogue platform”) while applying the highest technical and legal data protection standards.

In processing the personal data, we responsibly adhere to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR), the Law of the Republic of Lithuania on Legal Protection of Personal Data, the Law of the Republic of Lithuania on Electronic Communications, and other directly applicable legal acts regulating legal protection of personal data as well as the instructions of competent institutions.

WHAT DOES THE PRIVACY POLICY APPLY TO?

This Privacy Policy applies to the processing of the personal data of the users/visitors, mentors and mentees of the idialogue platform as well as buyers of trainings and consultations, irrespective of the devices they use (a computer, mobile telephone, tablet, etc.) to log in to the idialogue platform.

By providing your personal data to the Company through the idialogue platform (www.idialogue.lt), you confirm that you have familiarised yourself with the provisions of this Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy is available on the idialogue platform at any time.  

 

WHAT PERSONAL DATA AND FOR WHAT PURPOSE DO WE PROCESS?

The following personal data of the mentors and mentees of the idialogue platform are processed for the purposes of you registration on the idialogue platform as a mentor or mentee and creating a profile as well as further communication:

  • forename, surname, city, e-mail email address, phone number, photo (optional), LinkedIn profile, Skype name and FB Messenger.

The following personal data of the buyers are processed in the e-store for the purpose of purchase of trainings and consultations:

  • forename, surname, and e-mail address.

The following technical personal data are automatically collected and processed when a user/visitor of the idialogue platform logs in or visits the idialogue platform:

  • IP addresses;
  • date and time of access;
  • name and Uniform Resource Locator (URL) of the website that links to our Website;
  • data on the visitor’s device operating system;
  • information on the visitor’s internet service provider;
  • data on the visitor’s geographical location;
  • other relevant technical information.

The following personal data are processed for the purposes of direct marketing:

  • e-mail address.

 

HOW DO WE OBTAIN YOUR DATA AND ON WHAT LEGAL BASIS DO WE PROCESS THEM?

We collect your personal data that you provide to us about yourself when you register as a mentor or mentee on the idialogue platform as well as when you purchase trainings or consultations through the idialogue platform e-shop and when you agree to the installation of cookies on your device:

  • by providing us with the data (registering) through the idialogue platform;
  • when you contact us by e-mail address of any of our employees or by e-mail info@idialogue.lt;
  • when you enter your personal data in the e-shop;
  • when you agree to the installation of cookies on your device.

The user/visitor of the idialogue platform is responsible for ensuring that the personal data provided by him through the idialogue platform is accurate, correct and complete. In the case of change in the personal data provided by him, he must immediately inform the Company. The Company will not be liable for any damage caused to a person and/or third parties due to the fact that the user/visitor of the idialogue platform has indicated incorrect, inaccurate and/or incomplete personal data or failed to apply for supplementing and/or modifying the data when they changed. 

 

GROUNDS FOR LAWFUL PROCESSING:

  • consent – whey you yourself are providing your personal data when registering yourself, etc.;
  • legitimate interest – to respond to your inquiries, provide the information you request from us, etc.;
  • compliance with obligations established by legal acts (accounting, archiving, notifications of data security breaches, etc.);
  • agreement (on purchase of training).

 

HOW LONG DO WE STORE YOUR DATA?

We will protect your personal data for as long as necessary to achieve and implement the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, except for cases when longer storage of the personal data and related documents is established by applicable regulatory legal acts and is required (e.g. mandatory storage periods for accounting and other documents, etc.) or is determined by the defence of the legitimate interests of the data controller in judicial or other state institutions.

The data entered in the profile/account of the mentor/mentee on the idialogue platform are stored until the account of the mentor/mentee is deleted and are stored inactive in the archives for another 3 (three) years after the deletion of the account for the purpose of collecting evidence for possible legal disputes. If the mentor/mentee is inactive (never logs in to his/her account) for 3 (three) years, the account is deleted along with all personal data.

Your personal data (e-mail address) processed for the purposes of direct marketing are actively used for 3 (three) years from the date of providing your consent (unless you withdraw your consent) and are stored inactive in archives for 1 (one) year from the date of the end of the active use period.

 

HOW DO WE STORE YOUR DATA?

Ensuring the security of your personal data is very important to us. For the processing of your personal data, the Company has implemented and will continue to implement appropriate organisational and technical measures to ensure the security of the personal data, including protection against unauthorised or unlawful processing of the personal data and against accidental loss, destruction of or damage to the personal data.

We will notify you immediately in the event of a personal data breach that could seriously jeopardise your rights or freedoms and the circumstances of obtaining unauthorised access to your personal data.

 

TO WHOM ARE YOUR DATA DISCLOSED?

Your personal data may only be accessible to a limited number of our employees and the entities of our company providing IT, marketing, and legal services, only to the extent necessary for the proper processing of your personal data, and that all of these persons will be subject to strict requirements for the protection of confidential information.

For achieving the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, we may transfer or give access to your data to:

  • data processors who provide services and process your data on our behalf, in our interests and on our order (e.g. IT service providers, etc.). We note that our processors process your data only in accordance with our explicit instructions, under a commitment to ensure the proper protection and confidentiality of the data they receive from us for processing as well as organisational and technical measures that comply with security requirements, as specified in the agreements on the processing of data concluded between us and our service providers.
  • The entities entitled to receive information in accordance with the requirements of legal acts (e.g. courts, state and municipal institutions, etc.) only to the extent necessary to properly execute the requirements of the legal acts in force.

 

DIRECT MARKETING

Your personal data (e-mail address) may be processed for the purposes of direct marketing if you have given your consent or objection to the processing of personal data for the purposes of direct marketing.

You have the right at any time to object to the processing of personal data relating to you for the purposes of such direct marketing.

The Company discontinues the processing of the Data Subject’s personal data for the purposes of direct marketing (immediately destroys) as soon as the Data Subject objects to the processing of the data for such purpose.

Your refusal to receive proposals and news will not prevent you from using our services; however, it will mean that we will not be able to provide you with useful proposals. You can inform us of your objection or withdrawal of your consent by e-mail info@idialogue.lt of phone 8 680 16615.

The Company processes (uses) your personal data for the purposes of direct marketing for 3 (three) years from the moment you give your consent and store them inactive in archives for 1 (one) year from the end of the period of using the consent, unless you withdraw your consent.

 

YOUR RIGHTS

We ensure the implementation of your following rights in case of your request/inquiry:

  • to know (obtain communication) with regard to the processing of your personal data;
  • to have access to your personal data processed by Us;
  • to require the rectification of incorrect, supplementation of incomplete, or updating of inaccurate data relating to you;
  • to require the destruction of personal data when they are no longer required for the purposes for which they have been collected;
  • to require the destruction of personal data if they are processed unlawfully or when you withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data or refuse to give such consent where it is mandatory;
  • to refuse to give consent to the processing of personal data or to withdraw previously given consent;
  • to require the provision, if technically possible, of your personal data collected under your consent or for the purposes of the execution of the agreement in an easy-to-read format or request that they are forwarded to another controller.

To exercise your rights, please send us an e-mail to info@idialogue.lt. Upon receipt of your request, we will ask you to provide your identity documents as well as other additional information related information that we need.  

After receiving your request, we will respond to you within 30 calendar days from the day of receipt of your request and provision of all documents required for a response.

You can complain about our actions and decisions to the competent supervisory authority, the State Data Protection Inspectorate (www.ada.lt). However, we suggest contacting us before filing an official complaint so that we could find an appropriate solution to the problem.

HOW TO LEARN ABOUT CHANGES IN THIS POLICY?

This Privacy Policy is revised at least once in two years. Having updated the Privacy Policy, we will inform you about the update by posting a notice on the idialogue platform. This Privacy Policy applies from the day of its publication on the idialogue platform.  

 

HOW DO WE USE COOKIES?

In order to improve your experience of visiting the idialogue platform, we use cookies – text files with small pieces of data that are automatically generated when you browse the system and stored on your computer or other terminal device. The information collected by cookies allows us to ensure your ability to browse more conveniently, provide you with attractive offers and learn more about the behaviour of our system users, analyse trends and improve the system, your service and the services provided by the Company.

You can choose whether you want to accept cookies. If you do not agree to the storage of cookies on your computer or other terminal device, you can change the settings of your Internet browser and disable all cookies or enable/disable them one by one.
