I am a chemical engineer by training that has moved through various sectors to find a home in renewable energy. After operating for around 15 years as a engineering consultant supporting the development of power generation projects across the globe, I have now taken on the role of Chief Technology Officer at Ignitis Renewables based in Vilnius. My remit is to support the delivery of the company objective of developing >4GW of renewable energy by 2030.
I have experience as a consultant, line manager, country manager and director and am happy to engage with technical people who are looking to progress their careers. Given that I have spent most of my career working internationally with diverse groups of people often operating in their second language, I am also happy to share my experience of how to work successfully in this type of environment.
